OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Two Oklahoma City police officers have shot and killed a man following a brief car chase in southwest Oklahoma City.

Capt. Patrick Stewart says the shooting about 7 a.m. Thursday came after police chased a reportedly stolen car.

Police say the driver stopped after about a five minute chase before the officers opened fire. Stewart said it was not clear what caused the officers to shoot the man.

No names have been released but police say both officers are now on administrative leave.
