MEDFORD, Okla. (AP) An inmate has escaped the Grant County Jail and stolen a sheriff's department truck with weapons inside.

Authorities say 23-year-old Joshua Albright escaped from the jail Thursday morning and took a 2008 Ford crew-cab pickup with ``Grant County Sheriff'' written on the side.

Officials say there were several weapons in the vehicle and Albright is considered armed and dangerous.

Details of how Albright escaped and the charges against him were not immediately available.
